This working group maintains the organization's Internet and social media presence and communicates with Friends, relevant organizations, elected officials, and the general public. In this capacity, the working group may collaborate with the Magens Bay Authority (MBA) to facilitate community awareness of the operation of Magens Bay and advocate to MBA on behalf of local beachgoers.

Friends community meetings are usually held the last Saturday of the month at 9:00AM or 10:00AM at a picnic table near Shed 4. Additionally, meetings will be available via Zoom for those who can't attend in person. Meeting times and zoom links will be posted to the Friends calendar. Meeting summaries will be posted under our News section.

MBA board meetings (not Friends meetings) are usually held the third Friday of the month at 9:00AM or 10:00AM at Shed 4, although sometimes they are via Zoom. Meeting times will be posted to the Friends calendar to the best of our ability. However, they are sometimes cancelled or postponed, so check the MBA website and facebook page before attending. Or if you missed a meeting, check our archive of MBA press coverage.
