Upcoming:

• We will hold a Friends community meeting this Saturday October 26 @ 10AM. For those who would like to attend in person, we will meet somewhere near/past shed 4 (weather permitting). We will also be on zoom at https://us06web.zoom.us/j/89999424901?pwd=jab0cLsZH7yTsuBSxMjrW7ZwAd0vTn.1 .

• Our next trash walks are scheduled for Wednesday October 30 at 5:15 PM and Sunday November 3 at 7:30 AM. http://calendar.friendsmagens.org/ will have authoritative times & locations.

Friends progress:

• Despite the rain, a handful of people came out for a trash walk/social Sunday October 13 at 8 AM. 

• We're soft launching our website: https://www.friendsmagens.org/ . It is now available to Friends only to preview. Public launch & social media presence coming soon.

• The Friends board has an introductory meeting scheduled with Monique Simon & Justin Wheatley for next week.

• We are working on drafting a position paper. If you would like to help, let me know.

• Friends community members have reported that the chair area seems to be expanding for "private parties".
