Q: How much are monthly resident passes?
A: Monthly resident passes are $40 for individuals ($25-$40/month, depending on residency), couples ($35-$70/month), families ($55-$70/month), and resident seniors ($10/month). More info.
Q: What are the beach hours?
A: Magens Bay is officially open 7:00AM - 5:30PM, which are the hours when the beach is generally staffed and charges admission. However, the gate is open at all hours, and the beach is popular with locals early in the morning and in the evening. Lifeguard hours vary based on availability, but lifeguards are on duty roughly 8:00AM-5:00PM. There are generally not enough lifeguards for them to be stationed at every stand, and lifeguard coverage seems more likely to be concentrated around and to the right of the taxi drop-off area. The concession is open from 10:00AM-5:00PM (last call for food is at 4:00PM). More info.
Q: What kinds of plants and animals live at Magens?
