Out next community meeting will be Saturday February 8th at 10AM, on both zoom and near shed 4. In the interim, please use friends-of-magens@googlegroups.com if there are any topics you'd like to discuss.

A few announcements:

• The Montessori @ Magens (M2M) Road Race will be held February 1 starting at 7AM (registration at 6:15AM) - https://www.m2mroadrace.com/.

• The MBA board will host a town hall in February or March to hear community grievances & input. No date has been announced yet.

• The restaurant has been serving continental breakfast - fruit, yogurt, homemade muffins, banana bread, etc for the last month or so. Stay tuned for info about hot breakfasts. Current hours are 9-4, though they have been serving food an extra hour+ on days on days ships don’t leave port until late.

• A couple of Friends have praised Ms Simon for quick followup on concerns about chair placement. Please continue to share positive news with Friends and MBA.

• We still need volunteers to maintain a Facebook presence for Friends. Let me know if you are interested (or could be persuaded to be interested).

• With the days getting longer, we're hoping to get back into a regular cadence for evening trash walks starting in February. See http://calendar.friendsmagens.org for the schedule, which will default to Wednesday evenings but may change based on the cruise ship schedule and/or your feedback.
